Check how it will be loaded and unloaded
Say whether a forklift is available at each address or whether you need a tail lift or pallet truck. Describe the ground surface and loading area. Do not assume equipment is included with every vehicle.
Prepare a stable consignment
Secure goods to the pallet and keep labels and delivery references visible. Tell the driver about fragile contents or unusual handling restrictions before agreeing the job.
